Mohammed Umar Installed As Acting EFCC Chairman

Mohammed Umar, Director of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has been installed as acting chairman of the anti-crime agency, NAN reported.

The Federal government’s official news agency disclosed that Umar has taken control of the agency after Magu was arrested on Monday.

In a memo released by attorney-general of the federation (AGF), Abubakar Malami said that the dismissed anti-crime boss was involved in a grave crime.

Chairman Magu is currently at force criminal investigation department (FCID) of police in Abuja.
